Honor Guards are skilled Elite warriors, handpicked to protect important individuals, mostly Prophets. Though they can wield any Covenant weapon, their weapons of choice are the Energy Sword and Energy Stave, though the Stave is mostly ornamental and meant for ceremonial purposes. The Honor Guard Figure appears in the Covenant Crimson Combat Unit.

Trivia Edit

• The Honor Guard only appear in Halo 2 and Halo Wars where they protect the Prophets.
• In Halo 2 they never use their trademark Energy Staves during gameplay sequences, instead attacking the player (or in later levels, aiding the player) with Energy Swords. This is because there are no animations present for the Energy Stave in the game's code.
