The UNSC Marine Corps Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODSTs) are similar to modern paratroopers. They are trained to perform tactical combat insertions from high orbit via Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vehicles, or SOIEVs. They are known for being rebellious and eccentric.
